Black & Red Miniature Schnauzer
Arlo is one of our absolute favorite boys—and with a face like his, it’s easy to see why. He is a stunning 12 lb black & red Miniature Schnauzer with a rich 7/10 red intensity, a thick mega coat, and two striking blue eyes. When paired with females in the 5/10–6/10 range, Arlo consistently produces puppies with impressive 8–9/10 red intensity.
Arlo is AKC registered and DNA tested through Embark Health. He has also received clear eye and heart certifications through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).

This happy boy is a 11 lb with a 9/10 red intensity, a mega coat and two blue eyes. Rust puppies are highly sought after by those on my waitlist. He is AKC registered, DNA tested through Embark Health, and has had his eyes and heart certified as healthy through The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. When paired with a 7/10 red dam, Shakespeare produces 10/10 red puppies with the intense gene variant.

How Stud Service Works
A stud is a male used for breeding, and a dam is the female. Stud service is the process of breeding a stud to a dam in heat and is governed by a written stud contract provided by the stud owner.
Stud service can be done in two ways: natural breeding or artificial insemination (AI). While natural breeding is often successful, AI allows breeders to work together regardless of distance—making it easier to diversify bloodlines and avoid inbreeding. Chilled semen can be safely shipped throughout the United States, opening the door to exceptional pairings without travel stress.
Artificial Insemination (AI)
Chilled semen is collected from the stud, extended, and shipped overnight. With proper storage, it remains viable for up to 10 days. AI is performed by a licensed veterinarian or experienced breeder. We can provide videos step by step instructions for breeders that are confident in their abilities. For best results, dams are typically progesterone tested to determine the ideal breeding window.
Health Standards
All Duke’s Schnauzers studs are thoroughly health tested and DNA screened. This includes testing for breed-relevant genetic conditions, as well as OFA certifications for eyes and heart. Our studs are routinely evaluated by our veterinarian to ensure excellent health and fertility.
